Fiona Nicholson – Event Director Fiona [dot] nicholson [at] utsouthwestern [dot] edu
My name is Fiona, and I hail from a tiny town in Scotland called Ayrshire, but spent most of my formative years in Big D. I went to SMU (go Ponies!) and majored in Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish. I then moved back across town to go to medical school. What can I say – I love Dallas! I’ve loved being involved in United to Serve every year while at medical school in some capacity, from public relations to registration to creating an awesome bingo card. I couldn’t imagine my last year in medical school without being involved United to Serve, and this year promises to be the best yet! I’m honored to be the director of this event and am super excited to be working with the incredible committee this year with the unending support from Suzi Smith (we love you Suzi!) Hope to see everyone at the Carnival of Health (AKA Carnaval de Salud!)!

Andrea Owen – Welcome Area/Registration andrea [dot] owen [at] utsouthwestern [dot] edu
Andrea is a native Dallasite, but moved to the wilds or should we say the beaches of Santa Barbara, CA for college. She knew she’d get a lot of science later so she studied Spanish on campus and in Seville, Spain. After a fun year off working at an HIV clinic in the Dominican Republic and taking language classes in France, she decided she’d better get to work and started med school. She’s now a second year, studying hard, but still taking time to hang out with friends and family. She loves to go to the mountains of Colorado to ski, hike, rock-climb and fly fish (first time this summer – best part were the waders). She likes to cook and she always has a book going…a nice reward at the end of the day.
Joshua Clayton – Website Chair joshua [dot] clayton [at] utsouthwestern [dot] edu
Joshua was originally born in Dallas, but grew up in east Texas. He got his degree from UT Austin where he realized his love for technology and business! Hook ’em! Now he spends a lot of his time working on various website projects for the school and volunteering at the Calvert Place clinic. He is excited to create a new website for United to Serve this year, and can’t wait until April 20th!
