Michael Heffler

Mike Heffler was born and raised in Austin, TX, where he grew to love airplanes, science, and barbecue (but not necessarily in that order). Mike attended college at the University of Colorado in lovely Boulder, CO, where he majored in Biochemistry and minored in Atmospheric/Oceanic Sciences (and if there were minors in Snowboarding and Hiking, he would have done those as well). Mike made his triumphant return to Texas in 2013 and began attending UT-Southwestern in 2014. At UT-Southwestern, Mike became involved with United to Serve Games Committee because he enjoys having fun and being active, and enjoys encouraging others to do the same. On any given day you can find Mike cycling around White Rock Lake, flying the friendly skies above Dallas in small airplanes, studying in the UT-Southwestern library, or catching up on sleep in his comfy Tempur-Pedic bed.

 

 

 

Matthew Remz

Matt is a natural-born lover of games. This second year medical student and Florida native spends his days doing nothing but playing games. Or at least he wishes. His one older brother taught him young how to lose with composure and his high school volleyball and basketball career taught him how to spectate. Matt is happily married to an elementary school teacher who will make sure he can be trusted around children. He is beyond excited to bring all of this expertise to the United to Serve team.
