Each year, UT Southwestern Medical Center holds a health fair benefiting students and families in the local Dallas community. Held at T.J. Rusk Middle School, United to Serve enhances awareness of important medical issues among high risk populations while engaging children to be active in learning about their health and have fun while doing it. Activities include:
- Medical health screenings
- Interactive presentations and demonstrations highlighting important health issues
- Fun activities for the kids, and more
The event is conducted as part of the UT System’s United to Serve campaign, in which all UT System schools participate in a single day of service. To find out more about the events, check out our gallery or volunteer to help!
